SAGAFLOR AG, a German retail cooperation supporting more than 100 garden and pet stores and around 10,000 employees, needed a reliable backup solution for its complex IT landscape after its previous system caused delays and unreliable support. The company also wanted secure cloud backup for Microsoft 365 and a solution that could protect both on-site systems and virtualized environments.

SEP implemented SEP sesam as the central backup platform, along with SEP CAPS for Microsoft 365, to protect SAGAFLOR’s physical servers, virtual machines, databases, SAP, and cloud data. With SEP, SAGAFLOR gained fast, dependable support in its time zone, stable restores, and a flexible, compliant backup setup that now protects around 40 TB in full weekly backups and has become an indispensable part of its IT infrastructure.
