Steinemann Holding GmbH & Co. KG, a family-run agricultural and meat producer operating across four sites in South Oldenburg, needed reliable backup and restore for its Citrix hypervisor–centric virtualization environment. To meet that challenge they selected SEP Software’s SEP sesam backup solution—chosen for its strengths in handling Citrix hypervisor workloads and mixed Windows/Linux systems.

SEP Software, together with SEP partner araneaNET GmbH, implemented SEP sesam integrated with HPE StoreOnce Catalyst to protect roughly 70 VMs and about 0.5 PB of backend data across the estate. The deployment delivered the reliable, convenient backup and restore capabilities Steinemann required, ensuring recoverability of critical systems and consistent data protection across their sites.
