The National Research Council of Canada’s Biotechnology Institute (NRC-BRI) was migrating from NetWare to Linux OES and needed a new backup solution that would support NetWare, Linux and Windows across both physical and virtual environments. Their previous product, ARCserve, caused restore and database issues, so the Council selected SEP Software’s backup and disaster-recovery solution to provide a single, cross-platform backup strategy during the migration.
