Homegate AG, Switzerland’s leading real estate marketplace with about 9M monthly visits, faced a sharp rise in fake listings and coordinated fraud rings at the start of the pandemic. The surge created a growing backlog of listings to review and unacceptable publication delays; 2FA and extra hiring were ruled out, so Homegate engaged SEON for an automated fraud-detection solution to preserve user experience while tackling scams.

SEON implemented an automated screening system aligned with Homegate’s Customer Care rules, underwent weeks of extensive testing with the team, and was rolled out confidently.
