How Aumni Keeps Errors out of “Userland”

Aumni, an analytics platform for the venture capital industry, needed to move quickly while reducing user-facing errors and the time spent finding and fixing issues. The team uses Sentry error monitoring with a Rails and React stack, and with Source Maps configured, they can trace errors back to the commit that may have caused them.

Sentry helped Aumni catch issues before they reached users, replacing some browser-specific testing with error monitoring as QA and improving triage through its Slack integration. The result was faster diagnosis, prioritization, and resolution of bugs, saving the team time each week and preventing frontend errors from entering “userland.”
