A SentricHR Case Study
The Land Institute is an independent non-profit agricultural research organization developing sustainable perennial grain agriculture. As the organization entered a growth phase, its HR relied on paper timesheets, spreadsheets, and manual reconciliation for recruitment, time-off tracking, payroll and expenses—creating inefficiency and raising concerns about tax compliance and consistent processes across multiple states.
Two years after implementing SentricHR’s all‑in‑one HRIS, The Land Institute moved to paperless onboarding, automated time tracking and payroll, and a self‑service employee portal. Built‑in compliance checks and brokered benefits enrollment doubled benefits options, saved hours of administrative work, and freed HR to focus on higher‑value tasks.
