A Sentral Case Study
Callaghan College Wallsend Campus, a government school with over 1,100 students, needed a way to effectively know and understand each student to meet key professional teaching standards. The challenge was gathering and managing useful student data across a large population to build a holistic view of their development and foster a sense of belonging.
Sentral implemented its Sentral Wellbeing platform, a centralized and highly configurable system that allows staff to easily record and access comprehensive student information, including educational, attendance, medical, behavioral, and social factors. This solution from Sentral enabled the college to proactively manage student wellbeing, develop a co-owned language for behavior categorisation, and build individual student profiles to identify trends. The result was a more inclusive school community and an improved ability to meet the physical, social, and intellectual needs of all students.
