Virgate Accounts, led by Sarah Virgate, was growing rapidly and onboarding new team members, which raised concerns about missed deadlines and time-sensitive tasks (for example VAT quarter deadlines) and the need for workflows beyond simple tax-return work. They chose the practice management system Senta for its default workflows that can be personalised to manage day-to-day accounts operations and multiple service lines.

Using Senta, Virgate Accounts built and iterated customised task templates — including frameworks for advisory services and quarterly client reviews — and now onboard staff through the system so everyone follows the same workflows. Senta centralised task assignment (so no one needs separate to‑do lists), ensured P&L, director’s loan and other reviews are completed and flagged early, and enabled effortless quarterly PDF reporting, improving consistency and overall practice efficiency.
