A Sensource Inc. Case Study
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum needed a better way to understand how visitors moved through its five floors and which exhibits attracted the most or least attention. Working with Sensource Inc., the museum sought to answer key questions about visitor flow, including how many guests completed the full tour, while keeping the people-counting technology unobtrusive in a highly designed space.
Sensource Inc. implemented 11 thermal imaging people counters, along with software and traffic reports, to track entrances, exits, and floor-by-floor traffic patterns across the museum. The solution gave curators actionable data on exhibit popularity, dead zones, traffic jams, and visitor drop-off points, enabling more informed decisions to improve the visitor experience and better align displays with audience interests.
