Words Booster, a mobile language-learning app from Genesis, needed to accelerate user acquisition and improve conversion in a crowded Education market after IDFA deprecation made audience targeting harder. To tackle these challenges, Words Booster partnered with Sensor Tower, using Store Intelligence and Ad Intelligence to analyze competitors, identify viral creative trends, and guide both paid channels (notably Facebook) and in‑app product strategies.
Sensor Tower’s App Rankings and Top Creatives revealed a rise in localized ads and effective product themes, so Words Booster launched localized Facebook campaigns in eight languages (seven proved successful) and released three new courses—English for TV, Business English, and Travel English—based on those insights. The results driven by Sensor Tower’s data: Words Booster reached the Top 10 on the App Store and Top 20 on Google Play for Free Education Apps, projected payment rates rose 10%, localized audiences now generate 25% of subscriber revenue, and Business English doubled subscriber conversion rates.
