AdColony, the leading mobile video advertising platform, needed a fast way to surface new apps gaining early traction and qualify potential publisher partners amid millions of App Store listings. In 2015 AdColony began using Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence and Ad Intelligence—especially the Top & Trending charts—to access up-to-date rankings, download and revenue estimates and develop a KPI-based scoring system for new releases.
Sensor Tower’s Top & Trending and Ad Intelligence were integrated into AdColony’s daily workflow: the team downloads the top 10,000 apps, pivots to identify the top 100 publishers, and uses those insights to prospect and cross-check market penetration. By using Sensor Tower, AdColony grew qualified leads by 120 percent and significantly sped up and improved its publisher-sourcing and onboarding process.
