ASEKOL SK - Customer Case Study

ASEKOL SK, part of ASEKOL a.s., manages a nationwide take-back system for electrical and electronic equipment waste across the Czech Republic. With 3,910 stationary containers spread over a large area and multiple transport partners, the company needed a way to centrally monitor bin fill levels, prevent overflows, and better organize collection. Sensoneo provided the monitoring tools used in the project.

Sensoneo implemented Smart Sensors, a mobile app, and Smart Analytics to enable real-time container monitoring, field management, and data-driven planning. Starting with a pilot of 50 sensors in 2016, the project expanded to nearly 1,000 sensors across the country, helping ASEKOL SK optimize pickup frequency, improve bin distribution, reduce unnecessary fieldwork, and make waste collection and service verification more transparent.
