Solution Enhances Jobsite Progress Monitoring and Collaboration

Sundt Construction, a 100% employee‑owned general contractor, needed a solar camera solution for the Arlington Southeast Recreation Center to support progress monitoring, marketing, theft prevention and enhanced stakeholder collaboration — especially remote access for the project’s architects and subcontractor coordination. After evaluating options, Sundt selected Sensera Systems and deployed their full‑featured camera solution (including the MC78 camera and SiteCloud software).

Sensera Systems supplied solar‑powered MC78 cameras with 4G LTE/Wi‑Fi connectivity, LiFePO4 battery backup, DVR edge recording and cloud‑hosted SiteCloud (BIM integrations with Autodesk BIM 360 and PlanGrid). The solution delivered 5MP time‑lapse and live‑streaming imagery, enabled daily Project Update emails and public live URLs for stakeholders, improved subcontractor coordination and on‑site security, and cut costs (Sundt noted two Sensera cameras would be cheaper than a single competitive unit); cameras run up to 5 days on battery (10 days on XL models).
