Preview of the Denver Water Case Study

Municipal Water Utility Deploys Solar/Wireless Site Cameras for Major Redevelopment

Denver Water, Colorado’s largest and oldest municipal water utility, needed transparent, sustainable ways to share progress on its 34.6‑acre Operations Complex Redevelopment with residents, government officials, contractors and employees. To meet that need while supporting LEED and net‑zero energy goals, Denver Water selected Sensera Systems and deployed their MC-68 solar/wireless site cameras for real‑time project visibility.

Sensera Systems provided a turnkey solution—solar‑powered MC-68 cameras with time‑lapse, LiveView, recording, video streaming, built‑in DVR, cellular connectivity, cloud hosting and a public URL for easy sharing—allowing simple installation, mobility as the job progressed, and lower costs. The deployment delivered 24/7 solar operation (battery backup up to five days), streamlined remote monitoring and improved stakeholder engagement by making live project status readily accessible to the public and project partners.
