Online Real Estate Portal, VivaReal, Increases Their Delivery Rate by 50% with SendGrid

VivaReal is a fast-growing online real estate portal based in São Paulo that connects agents and agencies with prospective buyers and renters. Email—both transactional leads (10–15k/day) and targeted marketing newsletters—is core to their business, but as volume grew their in-house email infrastructure suffered major deliverability problems, causing lost leads and threatening client relationships.

In June 2011 VivaReal migrated to SendGrid, a developer-focused, scalable email platform with 24/7 support and advanced analytics. Deliverability jumped from about 60% to 88–90% (roughly a 50% increase), monthly volume grew 116% to as much as 600,000 emails, and they achieved a 99/100 SenderScore; the move also saved engineering time, improved engagement through reporting-driven send times, and restored agent confidence.
