A SendGrid Case Study
Neticon is a Milan-based digital agency (clients include Ray-Ban, Versace and Roberto Cavalli) that manages product customization, multi-channel commerce and digital marketing, sending about 100 million emails a year. Facing diminishing relevance from list-based campaigns, Neticon needed to move to 1:1, profile-driven email personalization by pulling data from multiple systems (CRM, journey data), maintaining global reporting and scheduling, capturing feedback, and finding an API-capable partner that could scale.
Neticon built Mailicon, a custom campaign management tool integrated with SendGrid’s APIs and Event Webhook to enable real-time profile enrichment, modular “satellite” templating and automated feedback processing. The result: fewer but more targeted campaigns, lower operational costs, higher open and click rates, reduced churn, greater template experimentation, and smooth scaling to handle 100 million annual emails while preserving sender reputation.
