Hapana, an end-to-end online platform for gyms and fitness studios, needed a way to scale its member engagement and support international expansion while maintaining reliable messaging, compliance, and local support. To do that, Hapana used SendGrid’s email capabilities along with messaging tools to help power its CRM and marketing automation, verify phone numbers, and improve communications across its fitness business solutions.

SendGrid helped Hapana streamline member communications and build new features such as one-click waitlist confirmations. The results were strong: SMS deliverability exceeded 98%, inbound SMS engagement rose 9x, class utilization increased by 7%, outbound SMS usage grew by over 500%, and inbound SMS responses increased by over 900%. Overall, Hapana tripled in size, expanded from 250 to more than 650 locations, and surpassed 1 million bookings per month.
