Case Study: Sixense achieves safe structural monitoring on Camden Lock Village with Senceive wireless mesh technology

A Senceive Case Study

Preview of the Sixense Case Study

Wireless monitoring played a key role in a challenging urban development scheme in the heart of busy and vibrant Camden, North London

The customer, Sixense, faced the challenge of executing a major urban redevelopment, Camden Lock Village, adjacent to sensitive infrastructure including railway viaducts and a canal. They required a comprehensive structural monitoring program to ensure excavation and construction would not disrupt train services or damage nearby structures, with strict limits on permissible movement. Senceive was engaged as part of this monitoring solution.

Senceive provided its wireless FlatMesh™ tiltmeters to monitor structures in near real-time. Their mesh network automatically adapted to the changing site layout, ensuring continuous data flow without the need for manual reconfiguration. This data was integrated into Sixense’s Geoscope platform, providing vital information that allowed the project to proceed safely and without disruption to the surrounding railways.
