URETEK required a solution to stabilize and lift a settled section of track on the Bologna-Rimini high-speed railway line using an expansive resin injection process. Their challenge was to monitor the track’s movement during these ground improvement works with high precision to ensure it remained within strict safety limits, avoiding disruption to train services. They partnered with Senceive to implement a monitoring system for this critical task.

Senceive provided a near real-time monitoring solution using 24 FlatMesh High-G Triaxial Tilt Sensors and four Gateways installed along the track. The data was delivered to the on-site team via the WebMonitor platform every 30 seconds, enabling them to respond instantly to changes in track geometry. This smart approach from Senceive allowed URETEK to complete the injections safely and with precision, accelerating the works and successfully minimizing disruption to the railway service.
