Case Study: Landmark improves highway landslide monitoring with Senceive

A Senceive Case Study

Preview of the Landmark Case Study

How remote condition monitoring helped investigate a Greek highway

The customer, Landmark, a local survey and monitoring company, was investigating landslides and deformation on the Xilocastro Highway in Greece. Their challenge was to find an easy-to-install, accurate, and reliable remote condition monitoring system for this high-risk environment. They contacted the vendor, Senceive, to provide a solution using their monitoring technology.

Senceive implemented a solution using their Nano+ triaxial tilt sensors, which were installed on the highway walls and connected via a wireless mesh network to a solar-powered gateway. This reliable system from Senceive eliminated the need for further maintenance or visual inspections, significantly reducing man-power, time, and costs for the investigation while improving safety by avoiding dangerous site visits.
