Regional Dealership Group partnered with Semcasting to identify existing service customers who were likely in market for a new vehicle. The dealership wanted to engage these customers earlier in the buying journey to reduce the chance they would defect to a competing dealership, and needed Semcasting’s proprietary attribution technology to qualify the audience.
Semcasting built a targeted audience using IP address matching to identify service customers who had recently visited an automotive publisher website, then split the audience into a control group and a campaign group for display advertising. The campaign delivered a 24.6% higher closing rate than control, generated 81 incremental car sales, produced more than $140K in incremental profit, and drove conversions 31% faster.
