Groupe Agrica - Customer Case Study

Groupe Agrica, a major French provider of pension, retirement and insurance services for the agricultural sector, faced strong regulatory, digitalization, fraud-detection and productivity pressures while insured-person and organization data remained split across application silos. To gain control of inbound flows and a single auditable view of members, Groupe Agrica launched an Enterprise Data Hub initiative and selected Semarchy (Semarchy xDM) as its Master Data Management vendor.

Semarchy implemented the Data Hub to centralize and reconcile customer and contract data (covering roughly 2 million customers and 500,000 contracts), delivering an agile rollout (first iteration in two months, second in three) that produced consolidated figures in minutes instead of a month. The Semarchy solution reduced policyholder compliance risk and data-processing costs, established shared semantics and governance, and is now used daily by a 30-person pilot for marketing, provisioning and auditing while enabling broader propagation of trusted data across the IT landscape.
