GrandVision, the global optical leader whose French subsidiary operates brands Générale d'Optique, GrandOptical and Solaris, needed to create a single customer view to enrich CRM and support marketing, analytics and customer relationships for some 10,000,000 French clients while ensuring medical-data compliance and preventing duplicate records. To meet this challenge they engaged Semarchy and its xDM platform.
Semarchy implemented a Customer (B2C) Intelligent Data Hub in xDM, building a master-data foundation with enriched, matched records at person and household levels and real-time verification across stores and websites to avoid duplicate customer creation. The Semarchy solution improved CRM data quality and compliance, reduced management, marketing and sales costs, and increased the effectiveness of GrandVision’s loyalty program.
