Global Pharmaceutical Company, a leading global pharma with operations in 170 countries, engaged Semarchy to support a digital transformation driven by accurate customer data. The company struggled with disparate and duplicative data from acquisitions and legacy systems, inconsistent rules that prevented a single “golden” record, weak governance, complex integration across roughly 30 sources, and the need for cloud-native, real-time API access on AWS.

Semarchy implemented a consolidated feed and its Semarchy xDM platform (with xDI capabilities), replacing custom sources with an extensible product and customer master and enabling a Customer 360. Rolled out from 2018 across multiple countries and expanded by 2020 to support about 100 indirect users and additional domains, the solution improved data trust, accelerated time-to-value, lowered TCO, simplified governance, supported regulatory compliance, and increased cross-sell/upsell opportunities—direct measurable impacts credited to Semarchy’s platform.
