A Semarchy Case Study
The European Broadcasting Union, the world’s largest community of national media organizations responsible for events like the Eurovision Song Contest, needed to manage identity and entity data across a vast number of regional source systems and thousands of people — a situation that created risk of fraud and poor traceability. To tackle this, the European Broadcasting Union worked with Semarchy, implementing a single point for entity resolution in Semarchy.
Semarchy delivered a centralized entity-resolution solution that consolidates records from multiple regional systems, giving the European Broadcasting Union a single authoritative view of entities. The Semarchy implementation reduced the risk of fraud and improved traceability and auditability across the tens of thousands of people and systems involved in EBU productions.
