the-store.com, a consumer-goods retailer founded in 1998 in Mobile, AL, grew from a mall kiosk into a private-label supplier for major retailers but faced limits with manual purchasing, inventory, and shipping processes. To meet rapid demand from partners like Amazon, Wayfair and Walmart and to scale into wholesale manufacturing, the-store.com turned to Sellercloud’s all‑in‑one e‑commerce platform, including its WMS, EDI and FTP integrations, to modernize inventory, warehousing and fulfillment.

Sellercloud’s implementation gave the-store.com automated EDI/FTP connections, scheduled tasks and back‑end workflows that cut fulfillment to 4–6 hours after order and allowed FTP integrations to be configured in 20–30 minutes. As a result of Sellercloud’s systems the-store.com added 200+ EDI connections, scaled SKUs to 250,000+, doubled warehouse capacity, grew headcount from 5 to 22 and achieved 700–800% growth—enabling them to accept wholesale manufacturing requests from Amazon and Wayfair within a month of onboarding.
