CIP4 Organization streamlines Atlassian workflows with Seibert for 235 member companies

The CIP4 Organization, a non-profit consortium of around 235 graphics industry companies, faced challenges with a fragmented toolset including a MoinMoin wiki and an in-house task management solution. They sought a professional, end-to-end system to structure their development process and better integrate their operations. Vendor Seibert was engaged to implement a uniform Atlassian-based infrastructure to meet these needs.

Seibert designed and set up a comprehensive Atlassian solution, migrating development to Git and Stash (now Bitbucket) with Bamboo for integration, while using Jira and Jira Agile for project workflows and Confluence for documentation. This new infrastructure provided the CIP4 Organization with greatly improved transparency and decision tracking, replacing ad-hoc processes with a streamlined, collaborative system. The implementation team and customer successfully managed the project itself using a custom Jira workflow, which minimized bureaucracy and project overhead.
