The 8th World Biggest Telco Company, operating a complex network of more than 100k devices across three geographically distributed data centers, faced uncontrolled machine identities—SSH keys, certificates and local passwords—created without governance and resulting in "ghost" identities and blind spots. To solve this, the customer engaged Segura and deployed the senhasegura privileged access management platform to bring visibility and policy-driven control to machine identities.

Segura implemented senhasegura with high availability and disaster recovery across the three datacenters, scanned and discovered privileged credentials on more than 10,000 devices, and automated rotation and renewal of credentials, SSH keys and certificates. As a result Segura delivered a centralized view and lifecycle management for keys and certificates, reduced ghost SSH keys and unused credentials, and decreased application outages caused by expired certificates—improvements already realized while the project is still being rolled out.
