Seeq Corporation provided a SaaS-based analytics solution that connects to Shell’s PI Systems, cleanses data in place, and supports monitoring, descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analysis. At Shell’s Prelude FLNG vessel, the solution helped the team identify the cause of heat exchanger scaling, replace problematic valves, and correct chlorine measurement issues so they could operate within a narrow, environmentally responsible dosing range. Seeq also reduced analysis time for one refinery from four months in Excel to 30 minutes, helping Shell make faster, data-driven decisions at enterprise scale.
