The company was dealing with costly downtime, sudden loss of flow, premature trips, and reactive ESP failure detection because of the scale of assets and data.

Seeq Corporation used its asset model capabilities with data from OSIsoft PI and OSIsoft Asset Framework to continuously monitor conditions, combine flow, temperature, motor amp, and tubing choke signals, and identify low-flow events with high accuracy. The solution also filtered out events during well tests and maintenance to reduce alert fatigue, helping the company proactively detect and predict problems and deliver an estimated annual savings of about one million dollars.
