DEPCOM Power, a utility-scale solar operator, needed a better way to understand and optimize performance across multiple geographically distributed sites. The team had been relying on manual data collection and spreadsheet-based reporting, which was slow, error-prone, and difficult to scale. Seeq Corporation’s advanced analytics software, along with Ignition and Canary Labs historian integration, was selected to help centralize and streamline analysis.

Seeq Corporation implemented a hub-and-spoke analytics architecture that connected DEPCOM’s site data from Ignition and Canary Labs into a centralized Seeq Server, using asset trees, browser-based workbenches, and organizer reports. This enabled DEPCOM to consolidate data from multiple systems and sites, automate KPI reporting, analyze P50, POA, GHI, and soiling performance, and reuse analyses across similar assets. The result was faster hourly, daily, and monthly reporting, reduced manual effort, and quicker access to actionable insights for optimizing solar plant operations.
