A Seeed Case Study
Samsonite Latin America faced a significant challenge managing its complex, technical product catalog across its regional Shopify stores. The company was caught in the "Shopify Metafield Trap," where high-value product attributes were rigid, difficult to manage at scale, and invisible to the site's native search, creating a major discovery gap for customers. Seeed identified this core issue with the existing data architecture.
Seeed implemented a solution by building a direct API integration between the Jasper PIM and Klevu AI search engine. This bypassed Shopify for data storage, treating it only as a transactional utility. The result was a complete decoupling of discovery data from commerce, making every technical product attribute fully searchable. This eliminated over 50 hours of manual metadata work per month and gave Samsonite LATAM a centralized, high-velocity data engine for its entire region.
