HOERBIGER, a world-leading technology group, faced the challenge of time-consuming and error-prone manual order processing with its many small and midrange global suppliers. To automate and optimize this procurement process, the company implemented the SEEBURGER WebEDI Portal for its compressor technology division.

SEEBURGER's solution automated the ordering and e-invoicing process, allowing suppliers to report through the portal. The order data is automatically used for billing in a turn-around process, and resulting invoices are relayed directly into HOERBIGER's SAP system. This solution, which supports local requirements in various countries, has successfully handled an annual procurement volume of more than EUR 25 million and 30,000 items since going live, eliminating data entry errors and allowing the company to focus on strategic procurement.
