Mubea, an automotive supplier and owner-managed family business, needed to connect its SAP system with a new Just in Sequence (JIS) assembly line to meet specific OEM requirements. Their challenge was to achieve seamless shop floor integration, ensure full traceability of components, and handle a production window of only three days without any pre-production. To address this, they turned to SEEBURGER and its BIS Platform to act as the central integration solution.

The SEEBURGER BIS Platform was implemented as the central control system to automate the entire production process. It integrates data between SAP and the shop floor, including 11 workstations, handling approximately 200 critical JIS orders daily with no loss of information. This created a 100% digital and automated process, providing Mubea with the necessary traceability and transparency while preparing their IT landscape for future expansion and connectivity.
