Case Study: Philips streamlines EDI communication and partner onboarding with SEEBURGER BIS

A SEEBURGER Case Study

Preview of the Philips Case Study

One solution for all the Human-to-Human, Philips’ EDI communication and partner Onboarding services with their trading partners

Royal Philips, a diversified technology company, needed a comprehensive solution for managing all EDI communication and partner onboarding with its wide network of trading partners. To address this challenge, Philips selected the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite (BIS) to act as its central B2B integration gateway.

Implemented in 2010, the SEEBURGER BIS solution serves as Philips' One-EDI Gateway, handling partner-specific mappings, connectivity, and data exchange. The results were significant, with the platform now serving over 140 trading partners and 70 internal connections, handling approximately 250,000 transactions per month. SEEBURGER enabled Philips to more easily set up, implement, and maintain its B2B partner connections, with the solution growing to also function as an internal managed file transfer platform.
