Case Study: BSH Hausgeräte GmbH achieves flexible, secure data interchange with SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite

A SEEBURGER Case Study

Preview of the BSH Hausgeräte GmbH Case Study

Flexible and secure data interchange with external development partners at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH using the SEEBURGER Business Integration Suite

BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, Europe's largest household appliance manufacturer, faced a challenge in managing its engineering data interchange with numerous external development partners. Their existing process was fragmented, using a mix of an older SEEBURGER solution, a separate service for ad hoc transfers, and various outdated PDM systems. Their objective was to consolidate this entire file transfer process into a single, modern, and future-proof solution operated in-house.

SEEBURGER implemented its Business Integration Suite, which included the BIS6 Server for standard processes and was extended with a pre-configured MTF solution. They also implemented the BIS FileExchange solution to handle all file uploads and downloads with partners, consolidating the previously separate ad hoc transfer process. According to a BSH service manager, this provided a single-source solution and resulted in significant cost savings by phasing out the old ad hoc transfer service.
