SEEBURGER provided a solution for E-Werk Mittelbaden, a German energy service provider, which was facing a complex integration challenge. The company's dynamic software landscape, including two ERP systems, required an ERP-independent and central solution to manage its EDI data streams flexibly. E-Werk Mittelbaden also needed to handle market communication, connect numerous market partners, and prepare for an upcoming conversion to a new transmission protocol.

SEEBURGER implemented a hybrid solution using its MaKo Cloud Service and its API/EAI Standard Solution. This approach allowed E-Werk Mittelbaden to fully utilize market communication standards while retaining its customer-specific processes. The results included the seamless connection of 26 market partners and the handling of over 200,000 files monthly, eliminating the need for in-house certificate management and manual post-processing of messages.
