SecurityScorecard Improves UNICC’s Cyber Hygiene Ratings Help Defend 80+ United Nations Partner Organizations from Cyberattack

UNICC (United Nations International Computing Centre) supports more than 80 United Nations partner organizations across sensitive domains and faced a broad, high-risk attack surface where social-engineering and targeted threats made a breach likely. To increase visibility and communicate its security posture to partners and the public, UNICC adopted SecurityScorecard’s Ratings product.

SecurityScorecard’s Ratings gave UNICC continuous cyber risk visibility, alerting the team to issues such as a sudden DNS Health drop that was fixed promptly, and enabling self‑monitoring, automated security assessments, and granular reporting for partners. By using SecurityScorecard, UNICC identified and remediated "low‑hanging" vulnerabilities, strengthened cyber hygiene across its ecosystem, and helped defend 80+ UN partner organizations from potential cyberattack.
