Vertical Management Systems (VMS), a technology provider processing over $500 billion in mutual fund assets, needed to meet FFIEC compliance, satisfy stringent client information-security requirements, and protect clients’ personally identifiable information from cybercrime. To address these challenges, VMS engaged Dell SecureWorks, using services including SecureWorks Vulnerability Assessment, SecureWorks Web Application Assessment and Log Retention Service for ongoing security and audit support.

Dell SecureWorks performed vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and web application assessments, helped prioritize remediation, and provides 24x7x365 support and log-retention reporting to demonstrate compliance. As a result, VMS met FFIEC mandates, reduced the time to respond to client audit requests to about 10% of what it was previously, and gained the confidence and evidence needed to expand Retirement Revolution and other services into new markets.
