Talking Rain Beverage Company, a fast-growing U.S. beverage maker best known for Sparkling ICE, needed to scale its IT and security posture without letting cyberthreats disrupt operations. To augment its existing firewalls and protect a mixed cloud/on‑prem environment as the company grew to about 410 employees, Talking Rain engaged SecureWorks for managed cyberprotection and penetration testing, including the Managed iSensor Intrusion Prevention System.

SecureWorks deployed a Managed iSensor IPS with 24x7 deep‑packet inspection and monitoring from its Counter Threat Operations Centers and performed tailored penetration testing to validate defenses and identify improvements. The SecureWorks services delivered far greater visibility into threats (including internal traffic), blocked incidents before they could reach command‑and‑control, and produced a “big drop” in incidents the IT team must handle—speeding response times, reducing potential multi‑day disruptions from attacks like CryptoLocker, and freeing Talking Rain’s staff to focus on strategic initiatives.
