Firma FX, a 250-employee global payments specialist with sensitive customer and financial data hosted on-premises, faced limited security staffing and lacked visibility across its infrastructure. Rather than building an in-house SIEM and hiring a security team, Firma FX turned to Secureworks’ Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service built on Red Cloak Threat Detection & Response to add machine-learning detection and reduce operational workload.

Secureworks deployed MDR across Firma FX’s environment in about three days (leveraging existing agents) and paired its analytics with human expertise via monthly threat hunts, quarterly reviews, and an Incident Management Retainer. After eight months the solution saved Firma FX more than half of the budgeted in‑house cost, increased security productivity and visibility through an intuitive MDR dashboard, and eliminated the need to hire a dedicated security team.
