Farm Bureau Bank, an online bank serving over 100,000 members with limited IT staff, needed stronger cybersecurity to protect customer data and satisfy banking regulators. The bank engaged Secureworks and adopted managed security services, including Secureworks Advanced Endpoint Threat Detection (AETD) and Log Management, to add layers to its existing defense‑in‑depth model.

Secureworks implemented AETD for 150 desktops, log management, and incident‑response workshops and exercises, plus ongoing employee education and phishing tests. As a result, phishing open rates dropped from 35% to under 5%, staff can quickly isolate infected PCs, regulators are satisfied with reporting and documentation, and the bank gained significant time and cost savings while refocusing IT on serving customers.
