A SecureW2 Case Study
A New Jersey school district needed to manage network access for devices across eight locations and sought to eliminate shared passwords by transitioning to certificate-based authentication. Their challenge was complicated by a migration from Aruba to Meraki wireless infrastructure and the need to integrate three different MDM platforms, all while maintaining uninterrupted service and planning for a future single-SSID network.
SecureW2 implemented its cloud-based RADIUS and managed PKI solution to create a vendor-agnostic authentication layer that worked across both Aruba and Meraki systems during the migration. The solution provided automated certificate enrollment for all device types via their respective MDM platforms. As a result, SecureW2 eliminated shared password vulnerabilities, established a stable authentication backbone for the transition, and laid the groundwork for the district's target single-SSID architecture.
