Western Reserve Hospital secures 100% patient-centered care with SecureData

Western Reserve Hospital needed to enhance its data security to ensure compliance and protect portable devices containing sensitive patient information from being lost or stolen. To address this challenge, the hospital turned to vendor SecureData for a solution involving their encrypted external drives.

SecureData implemented a combination of their FIPS 140-2 Level 3 validated SecureDrive and SecureUSB portable drives, specifically the KP and BT lines, along with Remote Management licenses. This gave IT administrators full control over device access and the ability to remotely wipe drives. The solution was highly successful, with the hospital's IT manager rating it a perfect 10 out of 10 for ease of use and security. SecureData's products resulted in zero user complaints and no need for additional IT support after the initial setup, ensuring patient data remains protected.
