Invensys, a global technology group, needed a robust, high-density wireless solution to support its Plex ERP on production lines—connecting fixed terminals, handheld scanners and other devices across dozens of international manufacturing plants. Scaling from a few office access points to a mission‑critical shop‑floor deployment posed technical and budgetary challenges, including heavy physical interference and limited local IT support.

SecureData developed a cost‑efficient, centralized wireless blueprint, prototyped it at two sites and rolled it to additional locations, using Aruba Airwave for centralized policy and reporting plus AFFINITYSECURE real‑time monitoring and environmental health checks. The solution now reliably supports hundreds of devices and end‑to‑end ERP workflows, enables seamless corporate and guest access, accelerates Invensys’s move toward a global SaaS model, and delivered time‑ and cost‑savings with further rollouts planned.
