Digital Mobile moves to electronic signing for contracts

Digital Mobile, New Zealand’s largest Vodafone dealer with 80 points of presence and over 375 staff, needed to replace a paper-based contract signup process that produced incomplete forms, compliance risk and customer frustration. To enable mobile and remote signing while meeting legal evidence requirements, Digital Mobile engaged Secured Signing to provide a PKI-based, cloud digital signature and web-form solution that would work on tablets and via emailed links.

Secured Signing converted Vodafone ordering PDFs into branded, web-based forms with business-rule validation, user-based PKI digital signatures, time-stamping and sealed PDFs delivered to agents and customers. The system was rolled out to company branches in one month and is being extended to franchisees; it halved the signing process time, produced a 10% paperwork time saving for sales reps, a 20% reduction for processing staff, and eliminated rejections (100% reduction), while automating reminders and secure CRM storage—delivering faster closes and improved compliance for Digital Mobile.
