Seattle Cancer Care Alliance Enhances Both Patient Care and Security with Adaptive Authentication from SecureAuth

Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) is a leading cancer treatment and research center that needed to enable secure remote access to clinical systems without adding friction for physicians treating patients at partner sites. The organization required two-factor authentication for home access but a low-friction experience at the bedside, and wanted a variety of second-factor options (knowledge-based, SMS, device recognition, etc.) rather than a cloud-only or proprietary solution.

SCCA implemented the SecureAuth Identity Platform, which supports 25+ authentication factors (push, OTP by SMS/phone/email, OATH tokens, knowledge-based, device recognition) plus SAML and self-service password reset. Deployment took hours, reduced help-desk password reset calls, preserved fast, low-friction on-site access while securing remote logins with adaptive MFA, and improved overall user productivity.
