Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy secures 400 employees with Secunet Security Networks

The Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG), a provider of topographic data and geodetic reference systems for the German government, needed a secure and flexible solution for its employees to work from any location. To address this challenge, the agency worked with Secunet Security Networks to implement the SINA Workstation S.

Secunet provided its SINA solutions, including the SINA Workstation S and SINA L3 Boxes S VPN gateways, to create a secure virtual workstation and connection. This allowed 400 BKG employees to work securely from the office, at home, or while traveling. The solution ensured the secure transmission of processed geoinformation data, enabling flexible and protected digital work in all situations.
