A Secunet Security Networks Case Study

Preview of the Federal Administrative Court (BVerwG) Case Study

Federal Administrative Court secures remote browsing since 2023 with Secunet Security Networks

The Federal Administrative Court (BVerwG), Germany's highest administrative court, required a solution to meet increasing demands for IT security and data protection for its digital work. To address this challenge, the court partnered with vendor Secunet Security Networks to implement the TightGate-Pro solution as a supplement to its existing SINA workstations.

Secunet's TightGate-Pro solution is a hardened remote browser system that acts as an isolating security instance between the internet and the internal network. This architecture prevents direct data flows, allowing employees to work securely with sensitive information while complying with the highest security standards. As a result, Secunet enabled the Federal Administrative Court to achieve highly secure internet use without compromising user-friendliness or the integrity of its confidential judicial data.
