Okura Yusoki Group’s Remote Support With Predictive And Preventive Maintenance Protects Customer Production Sites 24/7

Okura Yusoki Group, Japan’s leading material handling solutions provider, needed a faster way to diagnose equipment failures and reduce production downtime for its customers. The company was struggling to identify problems before sending engineers onsite, which delayed repairs, required parts to be arranged later, and could leave customer operations stopped for days. It turned to Secomea for secure remote access to support its palletizing robots and other industrial automation systems.

Secomea provided Okura Yusoki Group with SiteManager, including the software version embedded in its new IoT gateway system, alongside the existing hardware gateway used for older products. This let Okura monitor equipment status and operational data remotely, diagnose issues before visiting sites, and launch predictive and preventive maintenance services. The company reported that troubleshooting became much easier and repairs faster, with no issues from SiteManager Embedded, and it has begun offering the new service on a trial basis while planning to expand coverage and improve prediction accuracy.
